It features a digital I2C/SPI serial interface and offers user-selectable full scales of 2g/4g/8g/16g. With an output data rate from 1 Hz to 5.3 kHz, it is ideal for motion-activated functions, display orientation, shake control, pedometers, gaming, and impact recognition. The device boasts ultra-low power consumption down to 2 A, independent interrupt generators, 6D/4D orientation detection, and sleep-to-wake/return-to-sleep capabilities.
